Garden wall.

This job involved rebuilding a 20 metre sectIon of garden wall, part of which was retaining wall.

It was a job with plenty of challenges. Lots of cement and concrete had been used over the years in an attempt to keep the wall standing, but no amount of cement can beat a good old dry stone wall.

I struggled with a lack of space to manoeuvre due to most of it being down the side of a house.

The owners now have a solid drystone wall, (with no cement), that should last for many years to come.

These first 3 photos are what it looked like before I took it all down and rebuilt it, the second 3 photos are how it looks now I’ve rebuilt it.
